Enchanterie

For Enchanterie I have created the online and offline branding, a responsive website design and coding, plus the competitive analysis and user research to inform them.
Enchanterie was started as a way to make beauty services convenient and time effective, bringing them to the customer's location.
The brand needed to feel glamorous, but also approachable and fun. It had to relay convenience and to tell the user that the services were "all about them".
The first step was to research similar or related beauty services in different cities, and to read reviews in order to understand the main pain points.
The second step was to interview users and understand from them what beauty services would be convenient to have in the comfort of their home and how they would book them.

One of the main insights was that many customers would prefer to use the site on mobile, so the design on mobile had to give quick access to the the booking engine, as well as to promote existing offers.
During research, one of the top complaints was related to the time that a suite of services would take. As a solution to that, the brand came up with the concept of concurrent services and the option for users to get them in a bundle.
The third insight came from the stylists who pointed out that it would help if they knew the client and their beauty profile before hand. So, in aid of that, I created a beauty profile section, where clients would answer a questionaire to help the stylists better prepare for the appointment.
Even without local competition at the moment, the brand wanted to start strong and create loyalty. And what better way to do that than enforcing it with offline branding? I extended the brand design to business cards and t-shirts for the stylists, in order to create a strong presence and will soon follow-up with personalised gifts for clients.
